In this key role, the Senior Wealth Advisor is essential in offering sophisticated financial guidance to affluent members, nurturing relationships, and elevating the overall wealth management experience with our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Advanced Financial Guidance:** Provide customized financial strategies and insightful advice to affluent members, addressing their specific financial ambitions, investment goals, and risk profiles.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Development:** Establish new Centers of Influence (COI) relationships and work with the retail and commercial teams to independently source new high-net-worth clients. Cultivate lasting relationships with clients through regular communication, proactive engagement, and tailored services.
- Utilize Aviso Private Wealth Solutions:** Employ the tools and resources from Aviso Private Wealth Solutions to deliver holistic wealth management strategies and investment advice to clients.
- Promote Wealth Management Services:** Champion the importance of financial planning and investment management within our credit union. Partner with internal teams to advocate for wealth management initiatives and raise awareness of our services.
- Enhance Confidence:** Educate and empower both staff and members to trust our expert financial advice. Lead training sessions, workshops, and seminars to boost financial literacy and highlight our wealth management expertise.
- Community Leadership:** Actively participate as a leader in our Truly Local Ambassador program.
- Stay Informed:** Conduct ongoing research on securities, market trends, and industry changes to keep abreast of developments relevant to the growth of the wealth management sector and our client's overall operations.
Qualifications
- PFP or CFP designation is mandatory:**
- Continually fulfill educational requirements to maintain the designation.
- Securities license under IIROC is mandatory:** This includes completing:
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC), Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH), and Wealth Management Essentials (WME); or New Entrants Course (NEC) as a substitute for CSC and CPH.
