- Are you ready to put your estimating skills to work with a company that’s shaping skylines across Canada? Our client has been a trusted partner in the construction industry for over 55 years, specializing in the distribution of architectural products that bring projects to life. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a detail-driven Estimator to join their collaborative team.
What You’ll Do:- Review architectural drawings and written specifications for institutional, commercial, and public building projects.
- Complete detailed take-offs and prepare accurate estimates that form the basis for formal client quotations.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and other team members to ensure every bid is precise, timely, and competitive.
- At least 3 years of construction industry experience, ideally with institutional or commercial projects.
- At least 1 year of construction estimating experience.
- Hands-on experience with take-off software (OST, Bluebeam, or similar).
- Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction practices.
- Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD, with strong general computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills—you can clearly explain complex details.
- A self-motivated, organized professional with sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
