We are seeking a detail-driven and technically strong Architectural Technologist to join our client's collaborative studio environment. This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to thoughtfully designed projects while advancing your technical expertise alongside experienced architects and designers.
You will play a critical role in translating design intent into clear, coordinated, and buildable documentation. Working closely with project teams, you will contribute to technical solutions, documentation quality, and production efficiency across a range of project types.
What You’ll Do
- Develop precise, coordinated drawings and technical documentation across all project phases
- Translate conceptual design into accurate construction details and working drawings
- Support material and product research to inform design and technical decisions
- Participate actively in design and technical discussions within the project team
- Maintain organized project records, including meeting minutes, logs, and internal documentation
- Apply building codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance
- Contribute to tendering and construction documentation processes
- Continuously refine documentation quality to minimize revisions and field issues
- Build strong, professional working relationships within a collaborative studio setting
- Manage time effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines
What You Bring
- Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related architectural training
- Proficiency in Revit (essential)
- Strong communication skills — both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, in-person studio environment
- Sound organizational and time-management capabilities
Additional Strengths (Considered an Asset)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
- Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., Wrike or similar tools)
- Experience using cloud-based contract administration platforms (e.g., PlanGrid, Rform, or comparable systems)
- Previous experience in a mid-sized architectural practice
