A leading integrated design practice is seeking a bilingual architectural leader to drive design excellence on landmark healthcare projects across North America. This is a Senior to Principal-level, seller-doer role for someone who thrives at the intersection of design vision, client partnership, and business growth.
Relocation allowance may be available for the ideal candidate.
What you'll do:- Lead design and delivery of major healthcare projects, from programming through construction.
- Heavy involvement in regional business development — from pre-positioning and proposal strategy through fee negotiation and contract close.
- Build and sustain deep client relationships that generate repeat work and long-term value.
- Mentor emerging designers while being mentored yourself — this firm invests in growth at every level.
- Contribute to thought leadership through industry events, client presentations, and cross-studio collaboration.
- Licensed architect with a B.Arch or M.Arch (required)
- 10+ years of experience in the AEC industry
- Fluency in English and French (required)
- Demonstrated experience on major healthcare projects (strongly preferred)
- Proven seller-doer with strong business development and client relationship skills
- Experience leading pursuit strategies — EOIs, RFQs, RFPs, interviews, and fee negotiations
- Familiarity with IPD, APD, and modular delivery approaches
- LEED AP credential (an asset)
