Our client is seeking a fluently bi-lingual team member to be based out of Montreal (or possibly elsewhere in Quebec or Ottawa) to help administer a National Roll-Out Program for a major financial institution.
Due to the high volume of projects they have in Quebec they require someone with excellent communication skills, in both French and English, who is familiar with the permitting process for commercial and corporate construction.
Ideally, they are looking for the following:
- Fluently bi-lingual, ideally someone that can translate drawing notes sent out, as well as understand and possibly translate shop drawings received.
- Someone with educational background in architecture and/or training as a technologist.
- Proficiency in Revit – ideally someone who can do work as a draftsperson or eventually a project lead.
- Comfortable on site – either with CA experience or with detailing experience and with an interest in picking up CA experience.
Our client needs someone flexible and adaptable who can become their eyes and ears on Quebec jobs, but can also fit into the production team and help out where needed for other national locations. With the current remote work situation, this person can become a regular part of the Toronto-based team, and thus have a group to draw upon for support.
